Hello,

I'm not where to start. I'm seriously considering RVing and working from the road and or city to city. Right now I'm going through serious health problems and have been forced out of sheer bordeem and wondering why this has happened... to review my life. My happiest moments have always been when I was driving and discovering new cities, places, and waking up with the sun and a gorgous view. So I promised myself if I servive this ailment (whatever it is) than I would buy an RV with my tax return and hit the road.

The problem is, it can only be summer months & vacation times.... I have a daughter in high school.

Anyway... I guess I'm just interested in seeing what people in this tribe have to say.

I plan on going to school as soon as I can or have better health, hopefully that will be soon. My background. I was an Administrative Assistant, Exe. Asst. office slave.( I refuse to go back if I don't have to)But due to my health I had to quite. I'm thinking of going into Costmatology. This way I can make my own hours & days or possibly convert or arrange the RV into a mini salon so I can work on the road.

You could think about living on a sailboat. It is relatively cheap, your daughter could go to school during the year, and during the summers and holidays you could sail to different locals, depending on the size of your boat. I have in the past lived on a boat (you can rent from ppl if you look at boating magazines or hang out near a harbor). I really loved it. I was in Sausalito with the sea lions barking in the morning. It cost me around $300/month to rent a 30 ft boat with all the amenities available at the dock (bathroom, shower, washer/dryer, cable, telephone hook ups). I have friends that don't really have homes and just sail full time because they love it so much. Just an idea :)
